The 7901 is 3.6mm long and .002 of an inch at the tip, which makes this the finest tip carbide.  This carbide is great for scrimshaw (detailed lines on ivory, horn and bone) but also works on metals.  Be extra careful when inserting into the collet, the tip is very fragile and could snap off. It is best to use needle nose pliers when inserting and removing the bur.

For use in high speed tools such as the NSK Presto and others requiring friction grip, 1/16″ shank burs.
