Round Carbides are very popular burs for engravingmetal, wood, eggs, glass and any other surface.
They are available in a wide range of sizes from 1/16 – #8. The 1/2 carbide is 0.6mm in diameter, making it the 4th smallest round carbide cutter we offer.
Ken Brown uses round carbides to create beautiful calligraphy letters on wine bottles. Joe Cummings uses round carbides to carve intricate designs into gun stocks. There is no right or wrong way to use a round carbide as long as you get the result you’re looking for. When it comes to carbide burs, there is a difference. Cheap burs will wear very quickly. Some won’t even be round (when they say they are). The heads might POP off some. We carry only quality burs.
